PEAKS: Preparing Educators with Autism Knowledge and Skills
The Preparing Educators with Autism Knowledge and Skills (PEAKS) program provides Texas teachers with specialized professional development in evidence-based practices for students with autism.
From 2020 – 2023, PEAKS provided a three-phase professional development series on evidence-based practices for students with autism to over 500 Texas educators. PEAKS presented Behavior Analysis Certification Board (BACB®) RBT® (Registered Behavior Technician) curriculum across the series so that participants who complete the program will be eligible to earn the RBT credential.
Today, PEAKS provides free, online instruction for educators to learn how to implement evidence-based practices for students with autism. Please visit again to see more instructional videos added.
Each evidence-based practice video contains instructions, necessary data sheets, video demonstrations, and much more!
