Current Projects
Project PEACE
The goal of Project PEACE is to increase the number of high-quality related service personnel; specifically, board-certified behavior analysts (BCBAs), serving students with high-intensity needs (e.g., intellectual disability, autism spectrum disorder).
Sibling SUCCESS
The Sibling SUCCESS program provides Texas families with services for siblings of children with autism. We offer opportunities for siblings learn about autism, meet other siblings, and practice strategies to encourage and support their sibling with autism. We also offer professional development opportunities for practitioners to learn effective strategies to include siblings within behavioral interventions.
PEAKS
The PEAKS program provides Texas teachers with specialized professional development in evidence-based practices for students with autism. We have offered various formats of professional development including traditional in-person workshops, online courses, and consultation. We currently offer a library that includes descriptions, video examples, treatment fidelity checklists, and data sheets on various evidence-based teaching practices. We encourage teachers to use these resources for self-guided professional development.
